The popular generator nicknamed <strong>“I better pass my neighbour”</strong>
 will henceforth not be available for purchase in the Nigerian market 
because the Federal Government has banned the importation of the 
generator as reported by the Tribune.<br />

The news of the ban was made by the Controller, Federation Operations
 Unit Zone A, Lagos of the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS), Mr Madugu 
Sanni Jubrin, while speaking with pressmen and structures are being put 
in place not to allow any loophole. He also informed the Press that the 
command has seized 4,733 goods worth N52 million and arrested some 
suspected smugglers since he assumed duties one week ago.<br />

“The smaller generators have been banned by the Federal Government 
because it is causing air pollution and destruction of our lungs and 
breathing system. That is why they have banned it but people are still 
interested in smuggling them in, that is why we intercepted them.<br />

“If you go to the market, you still see them because people have 
imported them before the ban. So it is the leftover they had before the 
ban that they are selling because the law did not backdate the ban and 
it is not an absolute prohibition.<br />

“It is prohibition by trade which means you cannot bring it in large 
quantity and sell to the public. That is the type of prohibition we have
 on this but if you buy one piece, Customs will not seize it.<br />

“We will not relent in our efforts. When we see any prohibited item, 
we will seize, arrest the people and we will allow the law court to take
 decision on prosecuting them. So it is better for them to stop 
smuggling than to continue when they know Customs will catch up with 
them,” he said.</div>

Instead of changing any advanced system settings on your PC, make 
sure that your PC isn’t affected by some malware. Most of the users have

To disable the Runtime Broker, open the <em>Settings</em> app and go to<em> System</em>. Inside System window, locate <em>Notifications & Actions</em> and unselect “<em>Show me tips about Windows.</em>” Now restart the PC to bring it back to the normal and fix high RAM and CPU usage.<br />

 a web page. It did away with a lot of bars and buttons that were part 
of the interface a few years back giving users a much neater browser to 
work with. One of the major UI changes that Firefox made was to kill the
 downloads bar and replace it with a single Downloads button. The 
button, when clicked, reveals a pop-up menu that will show the progress 
of active downloads and recently completed downloads. <b>Download Bar</b>
 is a Firefox add-on that brings back the downloads bar. It not only 
shows you all completed downloads but also those in progress. The 
downloads are color coded so that completed and active ones are easier 
to distinguish.<br />

Install Download Bar and any time you begin downloading a file, the bar 
will appear showing its progress. The bar doesn’t disappear when the 
download is complete and you have to close/remove it yourself. The great

Etisalat New Smart pak codes

I tried to subscribe to one of the Etisalat social pack plan this morning
 using the old USSD code  and to my surprise I got error reply. from 
Etisalat. So I decided to go via the step by step USSD format by dialing
 *200# and I discovered that Etisalat have made some minor change's in 
the arrangement of their subscription plans and renamed some of their 
data plans also.<br />

As we all know that the Etisalat Social Pack is subdivided into 3 plans namely<br />
  • Chat pack<br />
  • Social pack which is now known as  Social Media Only<br />
  • 2hrs Video Streaming.<br />
 But we are only interested in the first 2 plans .<br />

Apple Music, the music streaming service from Apple has finally landed 
on Android. Users can now sign up for a three month free trial period 
similar to the iPhone users.<br />

Along with Apple Music, Android users will now have a direct link to 
iTunes and can listen to Beats 1 radio. Apple Music for Android is 
currently in beta so it is missing a few features and upgrades. Similar 
to iOS, the Apple Music service will cost $9.99 per month once the free 
trial is over. The service claims to offer 30 million songs and it even 
offers handpicked recommendations by music experts based on what you 
already listen to and love.<br />

The Apple Music app listing on the Google Play Store states that music 
videos are coming soon to the app. Also, you will need a Mac or iOS in 
order to sign up for a family membership and upgrades. The sign-up 
process will be optimized for Android. Apple first announced that Apple 
Music would be coming to Android back in June during its Developer 
Conference. Recently, Apple CEO Tim Cook said that company’s music 
service now has 6.5 million paying customers, with 8.5 million users in a
 trial period. Apple Music app for Android will require Android 4.3 or 
later and the app is available for download on the Google Play Store.<br />

Xiaomi introduces 20000mAh Mi Power Bank, priced at $24

After 5200mAh, 10400mAh and 16000mAh power banks, Xiaomi has introduced 
new 20000mAh Mi power bank in China. It is designed by Texas Instruments
 and comes with nine layers of circuit protection, similar to other Mi 
power banks. This has ABS plastic body, compared to aluminium body on 
other Mi power banks. This offers a better grip and prevents scratches, 
says Xiaomi. Even though it has more batteries, it weighs just 338 
grams, lighter than the 350 gram 16000mAh Mi power bank, mainly to the 
change in material.<br />

It has a power button on the side, LED for battery level indication on 
the bottom, micro USB slot for charging the power bank and two standard 
USB slots for output that lets you charge two devices simultaneously. It
 offers 5.1V / 3.6A output, similar to the 16000mAh power bank. The 
batteries on the inside are manufactured by LG or Panasonic and it 
promises up to 93% conversion rate and a minimum 12700mAh actual output.
 It also has fast charging (5V/2A 9V/2A 12V/1.5A) that takes only 3 
hours to charge the power bank up to 11000mAh.<br />

The 20000mAh Mi Power Bank is priced at 149 Chinese Yuan (Rs. 1554 / US$ 23.5 approx) and goes on sale on November 11th through <a class="externalLink" href="http://item.mi.com/1154400042.html" target="_blank">Mi.com</a>. Xiaomi has not announced any plans regarding the global roll out.<br />

How To Force Your Computer To Update To Windows 10

Yesterday we reported that Windows 10's update files had reportedly 
begun to download in the background for some users. This also means that
 there are some users who have yet to receive the update files despite 
having reserved their copy. This is to be expected since we reckon 
Microsoft probably wants to stagger its release.<br />
Now if you can't wait for it to come to your turn, fret not because 
it seems that there is way to go about forcing the files to download 
onto your computer, thus allowing you to upgrade to Windows 10 on the 
spot. This is thanks to the folks at VentureBeat who have published the 
step-by-step instructions on their website.<br />
So to start things off, users will want to navigate to 
C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution\Download, or wherever that particular 
folder is saved at. You will then need to delete all the files there 
which basically gives Windows Update a clean slate. Once that's done, 
head on over to your Windows Update.<br />
You will then need to launch your Command Prompt by typing "cmd" in 
the search box, right click it, and then choose to "Run as 
administrator". Once Command Prompt is open, type in "wuauclt.exe 
/updatenow" but do not press enter yet. Switch back to the Windows 
Update window, click "Check for updates" and once it begins checking, 
swap back to Command Prompt and press enter.<br />
It will then proceed to download the necessary files you need to 
install Windows 10. It should be noted that the update files are around 
6GB so it could take you awhile. We have yet to try this method for 
ourselves, but so far it looks like it works for the majority of users.
